In your coaching program, you might work on topics like these: - How can I find more strength and energy in my daily work, and improve my work-life balance? - How do I find clarity about my goals and future development opportunities? - Which strategies could I use for resolving conflicts in my team, or boosting my visibility within my organization? - Which personal strengths can I use to achieve my professional goals?

Before your first session, consider what you want to work on and be prepared to talk with your coach about what you would like to do differently, what areas you’d like to see improve, or how you’d like to change. You can do this by making a list of personal or professional goals and sharing them with your coach. Be vocal and be brave! When defining your goals with your coach, be prepared to share your dreams, your inspirations, and your biggest goals in life. You’ll be more successful if you share deeply and honestly about where you are and where you want to go. Don’t be afraid to think big and let your coach help you set achievable milestones on your journey. Your first session is all about getting to know your coach for the first time and discussing what you’re looking to work on together throughout your coaching journey. This is a great time to clarify what you want to gain out of the experience, so be transparent with your expectations. If you don't know exactly what you’d like to work on, you can share that too!
There is no single “perfect” coach for any person, but finding the right coach can make the difference between a good and a great outcome. Many people find the following approaches helpful when selecting a coach: 1. Look for details about a coach that inspire you or align with your goals - e.g. Do you have a passion for volunteering for a specific cause or a particular interest (e.g. tutoring youth in math and science)? Look for details in your coaches' profiles that may align with your volunteer work. 2. Look for keywords that match your desired focus areas. - e.g. Are you working towards a promotion or leveling up in your career? Look for a profile that mentions related terms, such as 'leveling up', 'career development, or 'career coaching.' Remember: Since coaching is not mentoring, experience in the same industry or role is not necessary for a strong coaching relationship. In the end, don't overthink it — choose the coach with whom you can see yourself building a trusting relationship.
If you aren’t feeling a strong connection with your coach or don’t feel like you’re getting the most out of your sessions, you are welcome to change your coach at any time. To change your coach, reach out to support@coachhub.com and we will help you find a coach that fits your needs better.
